Professional background
Imam Yahia Afifiy has been helping children and youth memorize the Qur’an. His work began fifteen years ago while attending Al-Azhar University. He has worked as a teacher in Qur’an institutes, and as an Imam in New Jersey, New York City, and Central New York for the past twelve years. Larger portion of Imam Yahia’s professional experience has been in teaching Qur’an to hundreds of children and youth in a private Islamic school.
